Overview
The Advanced Certification in AI with Specialization in Robotics is an 8-month hybrid program that integrates Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, and Robotics Engineering to develop next-generation intelligent roboticists. Created in academic collaboration with TIH IIT Palakkad – Technology Innovation Hub Foundation, the curriculum blends AI-driven perception, planning, and control within a unified robotics framework.
The journey begins with Python, Data Science, and Machine Learning fundamentals before advancing into Deep Learning and Computer Vision using PyTorch, CNNs, and Object Detection techniques (YOLO, Faster R-CNN). Learners also explore Natural Language Processing and Generative AI to enable human-like understanding and communication between machines and their environment.
Robotics modules introduce kinematics, dynamics, sensors, and control systems using ROS2 and Gazebo simulations. Advanced topics include path planning (A*, RRT), SLAM, MoveIt2, and reinforcement learning for autonomous navigation and manipulation.
The program concludes with AI-Robotics Capstone Projects, where learners design, simulate, and deploy intelligent robotic systems that integrate perception, motion planning, and edge AI. Graduates complete the program as AI & Robotics Engineers, supported by TIH IIT Palakkad – Technology Innovation Hub Foundation academic collaboration credentials that validate their capabilities in automation, manufacturing, and smart systems engineering.
