Overview
The 6-month offline hybrid program in Cloud Computing & DevOps by E&ICT Academy, IIT Guwahati trains learners to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based applications with automation and scalability. The curriculum blends cloud architecture principles, DevOps methodologies, and continuous deployment practices to build real-world infrastructure expertise.
The program begins with Linux and system fundamentals, where learners configure servers, manage file systems, and perform shell scripting. Participants then progress into cloud infrastructure management across AWS, Azure, and GCP, gaining hands-on exposure to compute, networking, and storage services.
Subsequent modules cover core DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), containerization using Docker, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Ansible. Learners also work with monitoring and automation platforms such as Prometheus and Grafana to optimize system reliability and performance.
